Photography is the expression for existence/decay, presence/absence, light/shadow etc. It is not only imaging these contrasts, but also underlies them and they are immanent in it. In between lies the capture and the experience of futility – a grey area, a playground, a gap, which is the field of my artistic work for exploring meaning and truthfulness.

I live and work as an artist, photographer and graphic designer  in Hamburg. I have a degree in Visual Communication from the HfbK, University of Fine Arts, Hamburg and studied at the Ostkreuzschule, school for photography and design, Berlin, with Sibylle Bergemann.
